Acting as a Settlement Agent as defined by the electronic payment instruments law, eCard is supervised by the President of the National Bank of Poland.
Additionally, it has the status of a Third-Party Processor of Visa International and the status of a Member Service Provider of MasterCard International.
eCard is also the American Express Company partner in the use of cards in the online environment.
In 2014 the Polish Financial Supervision Authority granted eCard S.A. the status of a Domestic Payment Institution.
